Texas Health Stephenville seeks an Admissions Specialist - Patient Access Services to join our team. This PRN role focuses on accurate data collection, patient registration, and efficient billing flow, ensuring a smooth patient access process.

The ideal candidate has a HS Diploma, at least 1 year of customer service experience, and the ability to verify benefits and explain documents to patients. CHAA is preferred; cross-training opportunities and a supportive, team-oriented environment are

• Requires good written, oral, and telephone communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and office equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately gathers complete financial and demographic information for medical records and billing flows.
• Obtains and/or updates verification of benefits and pre-certification for tests and procedures.
• Prepares and explains applicable documents; ensures consents are signed and documented.
• Maximizes reimbursement by identifying insurance carrier and benefits; notifies carrier of admissions.
• Assists patients in understanding financial obligations and collects co-pays or balances.
• Maintains compliance with regulations and adheres to customer service and productivity guidelines.
