Interim Healthcare of East TN is seeking an Intake Specialist in Morristown, TN. The role involves managing referrals from intake to admission using EMR systems, interacting with physicians and family members to gather essential documentation, and coordinating with marketing to promote services.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare or equivalent experience.
• Minimum One (1) year of working in an office setting as part of a fast-paced team.
• Strong prioritization and time management skills. Must be detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Receive referrals via fax, telephone, or EMR systems and carry the patient from referral to admission.
• Interact with physicians, case managers, and family members to ensure all required documentation and information is obtained for a successful admission.
• Communicate with marketing team to help promote care/services to prospective patients and referral sources.
• Plan activities and initiate contact in the community to enhance the visibility of the company and generate an increasing customer base.
