Job summary

The Connection Eddy Center in Middletown, CT is seeking an Admissions Specialist to support daily operations and orient new clients to the program. The role includes completing initial intake paperwork and required assessments, using a strengths-based client-centered approach to support men re-entering the community.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or a high school diploma with four years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years related experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• Experience with individuals in recovery or justice-involved populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orient new clients to the program and complete initial intake paperwork.
• Assist with intake assessments and program orientation.
• Support daily operations of the Eddy Center Admissions process.
• Maintain professional and respectful boundaries while supporting re-entry.

Position: Admissions SpecialistProgram: Eddy CenterLocation: MiddletownSalary: $21.00/hourSchedule: Full time, 40 hours, 2nd shift, Monday (2:30-10:30p), 1st shift, Tuesday & Wednesday (7-3p) and Thursday & Friday (9-5p)Program Summary:Eddy Center is a transitional 24-hour residential program which provides both supervision and support to men who are under the supervision of Parole. Services are designed to support positive community re-entry.Position Summary:The Admissions Specialist is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the program. This position plays an integral role in orienting new clients to the program and completing initial intake paperwork including required assessments. The successful candidate will be able to utilize a strengths-based & client-centered approach in supporting men as they re-enter the community.
