Overview

The Admissions Representative plays a pivotal role in guiding prospective students through the admissions process, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of the educational opportunities available. This position involves engaging with students, providing academic advising, and utilizing effective recruiting strategies to attract and enroll qualified candidates. The ideal candidate will possess strong public speaking skills and a passion for education administration.

Duties
  • Conduct outreach to prospective students through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Provide detailed information about academic programs, admission requirements, and campus resources to prospective students.
  • Assist students in completing their applications and guide them through the admissions process.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop recruitment strategies that align with college goals.
  • Organize and participate in recruitment events, workshops, and presentations to educate potential students about the institution.
  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions and admissions data using Ellucian or similar systems.
  • Provide ongoing support to students throughout their enrollment journey, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Experience
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred but not required.
  • MUSThave proven experience in recruiting or admissions within an educational setting or Background in phone or car sales are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with Velocify software or similar education administration systems is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience working with students in an academic advising capacity.
  • Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing exceptional student service.
