Job description

Position Summary

The Admissions Representative is responsible for recruiting certificate and degree‑seeking students for assigned programs at The Chicago School, overseeing all phases of the admissions process from initial contact through enrollment. The role may be campus‑specific and requires presence at that location. Evening, weekend work and occasional domestic travel are required.

Principal Duties
  • Recruit new students and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the admissions process.
  • Make a high volume of outbound calls each day to reach prospective students, using established scripts and policies.
  • Respond promptly to all new student inquiries and maintain consistent communication with all assigned prospective students.
  • Conduct telephone‑based, virtual, and in‑person consultations to qualify prospective students, explain available academic programs, advise on admission requirements, and ensure all admission paperwork is completed properly.
  • Maintain the Salesforce database by managing inquiries, documenting calls and activities, and executing a purposeful contact strategy.
  • Represent the university professionally in telephone‑based, virtual, and in‑person meetings and events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Computer skills including experience using customer relationship management systems and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous admissions experience is preferred, but not required.

This opportunity is budgeted at $25.64–$28.21 base compensation. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation.
