Job summary

New Mexico State University, Grants campus, seeks a Registration/Admissions Specialist to support prospective and current students with admissions procedures and enrollment processes.

In this full-time role based at Grants Community College, you will review applications, maintain student records, and assist families and staff. Standard work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with AFSCME bargaining unit involvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher required.
• Equivalency: post-secondary degree may substitute for years of experience.
• Associates degree plus one year of related experience preferred.
• Experience with Banner, Slate, Parchment, DiplomaSender, Student clearinghouse, FERPA, and database management.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current students and families.
• Welcome and direct visitors to campus locations and assist with inquiries.
• Review and process admissions applications and supporting documents.
• Maintain accurate student records and support enrollment goals.
• Assist students throughout the admissions process.
