Job summary

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay seeks an Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator II to lead outreach, advise prospective students, and advance access to higher education in Northeast Wisconsin.

In this hybrid role, you will develop recruitment strategies, manage events, partner with schools and departments, and support student success while upholding UW-Green Bay’s values.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of desktop hardware and standard business software programs (e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, database) and the Internet.
• Bachelor’s degree in counseling, student personnel, higher education or related field at time of application
• Proficiency in speaking and reading in a second language, preferably Spanish, Hmong Somali or Oneida
• Experience with software systems such as PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Image Now that support Admissions processes

Responsibilities

• May supervise staff and/or lead a program area
• Engages in extensive outreach and recruitment events, representing the university to prospective students
• Identifies opportunities for and develops admissions and outreach events
• Reviews, evaluates, and responds to student applications according to established policies and procedures
• Schedules logistics and secures resources for events to promote the Institution
• Evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement
• Creates targeted communication plans and materials based on established goals
• Delivers directed admissions program messaging to internal and external audiences
• Identifies, promotes, and maintains internal and external partnerships focusing on outreach, recruitment, and admission
• Counsels prospective and admitted students on educational planning and career opportunities
