Job summary

NMSU Grants is seeking an Admissions Advisor to join the GRCC Grants CC Student Services Center. The role focuses on outreach and recruitment, guiding prospective students, and coordinating with campus partners to streamline admissions and enrollment processes.

Applicants should have an Associate's Degree (or a Bachelor's) and be prepared for occasional evening or weekend recruitment events. The position is full-time at Grants Community College, with a standard 8-5 schedule and a 1.0 FTE

Qualifications

• Required Education: Associate's Degree + 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree.
• Must be able to obtain an NMSU defensive driving permit.

Responsibilities

• Visit high schools and local area to promote the NMSU Grants program and support recruitment.
• Advise prospective students and families on admissions, enrollment steps, and financial aid options.
• Prepare recruitment communications and marketing materials to increase program awareness.
• Coordinate with campus units to manage admissions inquiries and enrollment activities.
• Work occasional evenings and weekends for recruitment events.
