Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in college recruitment, college/university academic advising, sales, marketing, and/or public relations.
  • Superior communication skills (spoken, written, group, individual).
  • Motivation to increase enrollment with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced computer skills with word processing, spreadsheets, database usage, e-mail, and internet.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability.
  • Ability to travel within a specific geographic location to attend recruitment events.

Salary:

The anticipated annual salary for this position is $55,000, commensurate with education and experience

Purpose:

Supports the recruitment and enrollment of prospective undergraduate and graduate students for Purdue Polytechnic degree and certificate programs. Working within an assigned geographic territory, this position builds awareness of Purdue Polytechnic programs, identifies and cultivates prospective students, and implements outreach strategies that advance enrollment goals.

As a primary representative of Purdue Polytechnic, the Recruiter provides accurate, student-centered guidance on academic programs, admissions processes, and transfer-credit opportunities. The role collaborates with the Director to develop, evaluate, and refine recruitment, enrollment, and retention strategies that support program growth and student-success objectives.
