Job summary

Great Basin College in Elko, NV seeks an Admissions & Records Coordinator to oversee and optimize admissions, registration, and student‑record processes. You will ensure data integrity, conduct audits, and support graduation and degree‑conferral activities, all while maintaining FERPA compliance and excellent student service.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three years in admissions/registrar operations, with experience in student information systems and degree audit

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in admissions/records/registrar operations or closely related field.
• Experience with student information systems (SIS).
• Experience with graduation or degree‑audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and performs Admissions & Records functions with accurate processing within timelines.
• Maintains accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of student records; audits and reconciles data.
• Manages graduation applications, degree audits, and communicates requirements to students and staff.
• Provides accurate information about processes and deadlines to students via multiple channels.
• Ensures compliance with institutional, NSHE, state, and federal requirements and applies FERPA.
