Job summary

Monroeville SNF Healthcare LLC is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to support facility operations and help increase census. The role involves managing the admissions process from intake through bed placement, coordinating with the Nursing Director and Case Manager, and ensuring accurate completion of admission and financial documents.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years in admissions, and preferably a healthcare degree or LVN/RN license.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
• A Bachelor's Degree in health care or related field Preferred.
• Two years' Admissions experience preferred.
• LVN or RN license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions process to ensure a positive experience for residents and families.
• Plan, direct, and monitor daily admissions operations to meet census goals.
• Admit patients to the facility and complete admission/financial forms.
• Screen patients by admission criteria and review insurance coverage.
• Coordinate with nursing and case manager to confirm bed availability and appropriateness of admissions.
• Develop relationships with physicians, social workers, and discharge planners to maximize referrals.
