Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and equivalent of one year of employment at an institution of higher education.
• A current driver's license.
• Experience in a university law school admissions department, counseling role, or student services department preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain new information and teach new skills to other employees.
• Detail-oriented, patient, collaborative, efficient, and able to work as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students and applicants via phone, email, and in person about admissions requirements and processes.
• Create and manage external communications including emails, marketing materials, event programs, and newsletters.
• Plan, prepare, and host on-campus and virtual admissions events for prospects and admitted students.
• Recruit for JD admissions and participate in campus recruiting activities to promote the law school.
• Assist in marketing collateral creation and dissemination of event information.
• Fine-tune recruiting targets and reporting using admissions databases and tools.
• Counsel applicants on the application process and status.
