Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. College degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of general office experience is required, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • The ability to understand system processes, workflows, and data translation/integration is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail to aid in creative problem-solving.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks in a fast paced changing environment.
  • Top rate time management skills to utilize for prioritization of workload.
  • Able to read, write, and comprehend English; able to follow verbal instructions.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, Teams required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining all aspects of the CRM system (Slate).
  • Troubleshoot system problems and provide solutions; report issues regarding Axiom and Slate as needed.
  • Create and maintain instructional guides to enable users to build queries, generate reports, and execute procedures in Slate and Banner.
  • Communicate new functionality to stakeholders and provide staff training and documentation when needed.
  • Support on-campus events such as Open Houses, Admitted Students Day, New Student Orientation, and Commencement.
  • Respond to routine emails in the processing account in Slate, forwarding inquiries as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Undergraduate Admissions Team to meet the office's needs, goals, objectives, and mission.
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of academic records, ensuring compliance with FERPA and University policies.
  • Verify accurate data migration between systems and conduct data cleanup as necessary.
  • Update student information, including changes in address, start term, name, degree choice, and application withdrawals.

Job description

As the Admissions Operations Processor, you will need to think creatively and be comfortable serving as the subject matter expert on the CRM system to maintain efficient processing of incoming data. You will be an active member of the Enrollment Management team and will work closely with the Director to provide skillful service and keen attention to application operations. You will thrive in this role if you like combining your administrative background and customer service skills all while diligently implementing the CRM systems workflows to help achieve departmental goals. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent teamwork skills along with an unwavering commitment to student success and diversity.

Your schedule will be 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. You may have to flex your schedule from time to time based on the needs of the business to be a true Admissions Operations Processor. When our team shows up for work, they are energized and motivated to succeed - all while being the most crucial piece to keeping the ESU operations humming.

What Will I Do At ESU? (AKA Essential Duties)
