East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania is seeking an Admissions Tour Guide to warmly welcome prospective students and families, lead campus tours, and help visitors navigate the university experience.

You will support Admission events, prepare event materials, and share personal ESU experiences while representing the university in a professional, positive manner.

Qualifications

• Must be a current full-time ESU student.
• Maintain at least 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• In good academic and judicial standing; able to represent ESU.

Admissions Tour Guide

Position Summary:

Admission Ambassadors and TourGuides are responsible for welcoming prospective students and families to ESU.Admission Ambassadors will work with the office supporting the Admission staff toprepare and set up Admission events, lead campus tours, and help prospectivestudents navigate their college journey.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and guide prospective students and families on campus tours and identify important campus locations.
• Address concerns and questions from prospective students and their families.
• Participate in Admission events including Open Houses, Weekend Visit Day, Admitted Students Celebration, VIP lunch visits, Bus visits, and weekly campus tours.
• Share personal ESU experiences with prospective students and families.
• Connect families with their Admission staff.
• Prepare event materials, make event folders, and participate in event logistics.

Qualifications:

• Be enrolled at ESU as a full-time student.
• Maintain a 2.50 cumulative and semester GPA.
• Be in good academic and judicial standing.
• Professionally represent ESU.
• Work well in group settings, with individuals, and maintain a positive attitude during work.
• Must be available for all of the Admission Events.
• Be a good public speaker.
• Be knowledgeable about ESU campus, events, and student experience.

Compensation:

$12 - $15 per hour based on experience.

Duration:

August 2026 – August 2027.

Training:

Training will occur during the first week on the job.
