Job summary

The University of Florida is seeking an Admissions Officer II to support undergraduate admissions and readmission processes for prospective and returning students. You will review and evaluate applications, coordinate decisions with academic colleges, assess transcripts, and provide guidance to students, families, and university partners throughout the admissions process.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, families, colleagues, and campus partners.

  • Support admission workflows and operational processes to promote timely and efficient application review.
  • Apply university policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in admissions processing.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students, current students, parents, and university personnel.
  • Respond to admissions-related inquiries received via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Provide accurate guidance regarding admissions requirements, policies, procedures, and application status.
  • Support OneStop Enrollment Services staff with escalated admissions inquiries and complex student cases.
  • Develop and maintain admissions reference materials and training resources for campus partners.

Job Description

The University of Florida is looking for an Admissions Officer II to support undergraduate admissions and readmission processes for prospective and returning students. Other Duties
  • Provide cross-functional support within the Office of Admissions to ensure operational continuity.
  • Collaborate with departments and Enrollment Management partners to support operational goals.
  • Participate in committees, cross-functional teams, and division initiatives.
  • Assist with admissions-related events and initiatives as assigned.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Expected Salary

$47,500 annually

  • Experience working with student information systems, CRM platforms, or related database applications; experience with Slate and/or PeopleSoft Campus Solutions preferred.
