The Department of PA Studies of the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) is seeking an Admissions Officer to support and contribute to the admissions cycles for the Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medicine and Pre-PA program and the Physician Assistant Program reporting to the department's Associate Director of Admissions. The mission of the Department is to provide exceptional education to clinicians of the future who represent and serve diverse communities through collaborative healthcare and leadership. This individual is expected to represent the programs at admissions fairs and provide accurate feedback to applicants interested in either program.
Performs other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are associated with supporting the Department's mission.
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
