Job summary

Good Shepherd Community Care seeks an Admissions Nurse Liaison to join its expanding Intake and Admissions team in Greater Boston. Travel is required as services are provided in patients’ homes and facilities throughout the region.

The RN will assess patients, explain hospice services, and coordinate smooth admissions with hospital staff and referral sources. MA licensure and 2+ years in relevant fields are preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN eligible to practice in Massachusetts.
• Two years of experience in community health, oncology, hospice, or palliative care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to coordinate admissions.

Responsibilities

• Explain hospice services to patients, families, and referral sources.

Admissions Nurse LiaisonNamed by the Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the last four years, our community-based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks an Admissions Nurse Liaison to join its expanding Intake and Admissions team. Travel is required for this position. Care is provided in patients’ private homes and residential facilities throughout Greater Boston and parts of Metrowest.Job Responsibilities:The Admissions Nurse Liaison (ANL) is responsible for ensuring a comprehensive and smooth admission process for patients being admitted to Good Shepherd Community Hospice.
