Job summary

Select Medical is seeking an Admissions Coordinator in Davenport, IA to join the Business Development Team. The role manages referral intake, coordinates admissions, verifies benefits, and ensures all patient needs are met on admission day.

On-site, full-time, Monday–Friday 8–5, with an hourly pay range of $21–$29, plus monthly incentive bonuses and a robust onboarding/training program. Healthcare benefits are provided to full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital, physician practice, or insurance environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and terminology used in patient referrals.

Responsibilities

• Manage referral intake and admission of patients.
• Coordinate with departments to prepare for admission day.
• Verify Medicare or insurance benefits and prior authorizations as patients arrive.
• Enter referral and admission data accurately in online systems.
• Ensure all equipment and necessities are ready for patient rooms and admissions.
