Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is hiring an Admissions Manager for an on-site role in Irving, TX. The position focuses on evaluating referrals, managing pre-screening processes, and coordinating with payers to secure authorizations and coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or health care field; related admissions and medical insurance work experience may be considered in place of degree.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in rehabilitation or healthcare settings.
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation operations and third-party payer reimbursement.
• Proficient data entry and computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Excellent negotiation, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to function in position with minimal supervision and professional interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Receives/responds to incoming calls from referral sources and exchanges information to identify clients’ needs and consults with Director of Clinical Management to determine the Company’s ability to meet them.
• Completes all viable referrals by setting up pre-screening assessments, completing pre-screening reports, and preparing case proposals and related pre-admission paperwork.
• Oversees, directs and supervises field staff assigned in assisting with pre-screening process.
• Accesses national/state/company account information, including contract names and terms of past payer agreements.
• Consults with third party representatives regarding client benefit coverage and negotiates reimbursement levels with third party payer.
• Maintains relationships with referral sources and pays attention to outcomes and reports to management.
