Acadia Healthcare's Oasis Behavioral Health seeks an Admissions Specialist to guide patients and families through the admissions process with compassion and urgency. You will conduct assessments, coordinate admissions, verify benefits, and secure necessary documentation and authorizations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science or Social Services.
• RN with Associate's degree in Nursing or an LPN/LVN background may meet minimum education.
• 1+ year of clinical or observational experience in related field is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate admissions and assessment processes for incoming patients.
• Respond to inquiries about the facility within policy timeframes.
• Schedule and complete pre-admission assessments and communicate recommendations to patients/families.
• Collaborate with medical and psychiatric staff to ensure appropriate admissions.
• Coordinate admissions and transfers between levels of care.
• Communicate projected admissions to internal representatives.
• Verify insurance benefits and share findings with patients and staff.
• Gather and secure all admission documents and obtain initial pre-authorization.
• Assist therapists with concurrent reviews to secure continued treatment.
• Coordinate peer-to-peer reviews and share results with the treatment team.
• Provide ongoing assessment of patient status during admissions.
• Communicate treatment recommendations to treatment teams.
• Maintain empathy and professionalism; resolve complaints with safety as priority.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science or Social Services
