Job summary

Quail Run Hospital in Phoenix, AZ, seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Intake to lead the Intake Admissions Department under the Director of Intake, overseeing patient flow and staff productivity while upholding hospital policies and compassionate care.

Ideal candidates will possess a current Arizona nursing license or compact privileges, a Master’s in Nursing (or BSN with hospital leadership experience), and strong leadership skills in a psychiatric intake setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Arizona nursing license or compact privileges.
• Master's degree in nursing and 1 year hospital experience, or Bachelor's degree and 3 years hospital experience.
• Strong clinical leadership and staff management skills in an intake/admissions setting.
• Experience in psychiatric hospital is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee intake/admissions staff and ensure 24/7 coverage.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure clinical information is accurately gathered and communicated.
• Provide administrative leadership as Administrator on Call.
• Collaborate with Director of Admissions to optimize patient flow.
