Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking an Assistant Director of Intake for Quail Run Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. The role provides clinical leadership, coordinates patient flow and staff productivity within the Intake and Admissions Department, and promotes performance through role modeling and ongoing staff development.

The position requires leadership experience in hospital intake/admissions and a nursing license in Arizona, with required advanced degree and hospital experience as noted.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of hospital intake/admissions processes.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience in psychiatric hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Admissions with onboarding and training of new staff and 90‑day/annual evaluations.
• Evaluate staff performance and monitor schedules/work hours/plans.
• Complete medical evaluations to support admissions and communicate findings.
• Ensure 24/7 staffing for the department and cover as needed.
• Fulfill Administrator on Call duties after hours as scheduled.
