Eagleville Hospital, an independent substance use and behavioral health treatment and educational organization serving the community for more than a century, seeks an Admissions professional to facilitate new admissions by reviewing referrals and responding to facility inquiries.

The role collaborates with Nursing, Medical, and Psychiatric leadership to ensure appropriate recommendations, coordinates admissions and transfers, and handles insurance verification, pre-authorization, and patient

Responsabilités

• Facilitate review process of potential admissions and referrals.
• Maintain tracking system of referrals.
• Respond to phone calls and inquiries about the facility within policy timeframes.
• Provide initial screening and level of care assessment for patients calling to be admitted.
• Facilitate insurance verification process and secure appropriate funding.
• Create Authorization Tracking Forms for accepted patients.
• Collaborate with Nursing, Medical or Psychiatric leaders to ensure appropriate recommendations.
• Coordinate admission and transfer from referral sources.
• Maintain knowledge of milieu management.
• Assist with new admission arrival procedures such as searches and UDS as needed.
• Communicate projected admissions to designated internal representatives promptly.
• Assist Nursing leaders with ensuring information from referral sources or patient information is received prior to admission.
• Complete pre-authorization for treatment and admission prior to admission, when possible.
• Serve as a community liaison and maintain partnerships with referral sources.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers; address complaints and prioritize patient safety.
• Respect patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
