Job summary

Laurel Lakes Rehab and Wellness Center is seeking an experienced Admissions Assistant/Customer Services Assistant in a CASUAL, as-needed role at our Chambersburg facility. You will help establish referral sources and admit residents into our 186-bed skilled nursing center, with daily pay options and a supportive team culture.

Responsibilities include timely conversion of referrals, efficient resident admissions, and cross-department information sharing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years in a health care facility preferred.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills expected.
• Experience with referral management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Timely conversion of referrals to admissions and liaison for public contact.
• Obtain required information and admit residents efficiently.
• Complete weekly activity and progress reports.
• Manage admissions paperwork accurately and courteously.
• Share pertinent resident information with relevant departments.
• Enter referrals into tracking software weekly.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Levels of Care and referral priorities.
• Generate referrals from targeted accounts identified in sales plans.
• Conduct external sales activity with referral sources.
• Analyze referral data and trends.
• Conduct effective tours to promote admission.
• Coordinate customer service training for staff.
• Coordinate marketing and advertising activities for the market.
