Job summary

Worlds of Fun is seeking a supervisor to manage daily operations and staff within the Admissions and Guest Services departments. You will make decisions in the absence of the Area Manager and ensure guest satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, and enforcing policies, while coordinating with management and supporting special events and park procedures. Must be reliable and capable of handling high-pressure situations.

Qualifications

• Calm demeanor under emotionally charged situations.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English for meetings and reports.
• 1–2 years of related experience in admissions/guest services.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test, as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations and staff of the Admissions and Guest Services departments.
• Schedules associates to ensure adequate staffing within budget guidelines.
• Trains, directs, motivates, evaluates and disciplines staff with proper documentation.
• Acts on associate and safety concerns and makes decisions in the absence of an Area Manager.
• Maintains inventory and ensures materials and equipment are available for smooth operation.
• Communicates with management on operational issues, guest concerns, and losses.
• Attends meetings and assists with special events and park evacuations as needed.
• Provides guest service per Six Flags standards, including answering questions and directions.
