Job summary

Worlds of Fun Village is seeking a Team Lead Housekeeping to supervise operations and deliver exceptional guest service at the Worlds of Fun Village in Kansas City. You will oversee cleaning tasks, secure handling of guest information, and support the housekeeping team in daily duties to ensure rooms and spaces meet safety and cleanliness standards.

The role requires leadership, attention to detail, and strong computer and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a housekeeping or guest services team.
• Strong guest-service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proven accuracy with handling guest information and transactions.
• Safety-conscious with knowledge of cleaning chemicals and storage procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead housekeeping tasks and oversee department operations.

• Assist guests with check-in/out and answer questions.
• Process credit card transactions accurately.

• Team Lead Housekeeping

A Village Leadership Associate at Worlds of Fun is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests and visitors at the Worlds of Fun Village. This may include

• Being a leader in this department and assisting in overseeing the following tasks
• Maintains guest information, including credit card information, in a secure and confidential manner
• Checks guests into and out of the hotel, answers guest questions in person and on the phone
• Must have attention to detail and computer skills
• Accurately processes credit card transactions
• Properly handle required cleaning chemicals
• May be cross-trained to assist in the Housekeeping Department
• Keeps storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean and tidy
• Uses established procedures to work appropriately with all cleaning chemicals
• Removes and carries linens, towels, toilet items and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts
• Cleans, scrubs, dusts, sweeps, vacuums and mops Guest units, including kitchenettes and bathrooms to ensure rooms are ready for check in
• Empties wastebaskets and transports other trash and waste to disposal areas
• Washes windows, walls, ceilings and woodwork
• Makes up Guest beds, bathrooms and organize linen closets
• Replenishes supplies, such as linens and bathroom items
• Reports all items needing repair or maintenance to management
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags Entertainment Corporation Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision
• Other duties may be assigned
