Job summary

Premier Nursing and Rehab Center of Far Rockaway is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to support the Admissions Director in a seamless admissions process. You will help with paperwork, communicate with referral sources, and coordinate with outreach teams to grow census.

In the Director's absence, you will lead admission-related activities, manage insurance inquiries, and ensure the department is staffed and ready to welcome new residents. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's preferred.
• Previous admissions experience in healthcare facilities preferred.
• Experience as a Director is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cover admissions in the director's absence and support department.
• Complete daily census, end-of-day reports, and admissions paperwork.
• Coordinate with outreach teams to maximize admissions and census.
• Manage referrals, enrollment data, and insurance inquiries.
• Conduct tours for prospective families and communicate updates.
