Job summary

Brinton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced Admissions Concierge to support our admissions team. You will serve as the initial point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, guiding them through the enrollment process with empathy and professionalism, and ensuring a seamless transition into our center.

Reporting to the Administrator, you will coordinate tours, collect referral information, prepare paperwork, and foster relationships with external referral

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience with admissions in SNF/subacute/rehab or similar healthcare facility.
• Strong organizational and documentation with follow-up.
• Excellent telephone skills for referral sources and families.
• Inside or outside sales experience preferred.
• Ability to conduct tours and close admissions with families.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Administrator.
• Support the admissions team in achieving admissions goals by making the process seamless and stress-free.
• Ensure resident rooms are ready for admission and equipment/supplies are prepared.
• Obtain referral information from telephone and walk-in inquiries; conduct tours as needed.
• Direct, educate, and coach center staff to comply with admissions process.
• Explain admission policies to patients and families; ensure paperwork is complete at admission; discuss financial arrangements.
• Chairs the daily admissions meeting to update on referrals, admissions, and follow-up; assist with increasing conversion rate.
• Develop relationships with external referral sources (Community, AL/IL Centers, Physician offices, and other local providers).
