Job summary

Talentify is seeking an Admissions Director for a Skilled Nursing Facility. The role leads the admissions process, builds relationships with hospitals, case managers, and referral sources, and guides residents and families through welcoming admissions and tours.

You will help drive occupancy while ensuring smooth transitions and compliant documentation. The position offers a full-time schedule, in-person work, and a competitive salary up to $95,000 per year, with benefits including health

Qualifications

• Experience in Admissions/Marketing/Business development in a Skilled Nursing Facility or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and insurance verification processes.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
• Experience with hospital discharge planners and referral sources is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily admissions process from referral through admission.
• Coordinate with hospitals, case managers, physicians, and referral sources to facilitate timely admissions.
• Review referrals for clinical and financial eligibility.
• Communicate with prospective residents and families, providing tours and answering questions about the facility and services.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth resident transitions.
• Complete admission paperwork and ensure all required documentation is accurate and compliant.
• Maintain relationships with referral sources to promote continued admissions growth.
• Monitor bed availability and coordinate admissions with nursing and administrative leadership.
• Track admissions metrics and prepare reports for leadership.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
