Job summary

Pikes Peak Post Acute in Oregon seeks an Admissions Manager to lead the admissions process, coordinating with residents, families, and staff to ensure a smooth, respectful experience.

You will plan and supervise daily operations of the Admissions Department to meet census goals, screen patients, complete forms, verify insurance, and collaborate with nursing, case management and discharge planners.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree in health care or related field preferred.
• Two years admissions experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions to ensure a positive experience for residents, families and supporting staff.
• Plan, direct, and monitor daily Admissions Department operations to meet census goals and ensure professional admissions.
• Screen patients by comparing their condition to admission criteria.
• Admit patients by completing admission and financial responsibility forms.
• Coordinate with nursing, case management, and discharge planners to maximize referrals and facilitate admissions.
• Maintain bed availability records and communicate updates.
