Job summary

Pikes Peak Post Acute in Oregon is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to manage the admissions process and coordinate the daily operations of the Admissions Department to maximize facility census. You will work closely with clinicians, discharge planners, and supporting staff to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate information collection.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree in health care or related field preferred.
• Two years admissions experience preferred.
• LVN or RN license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the admissions process efficiently to ensure a positive experience for residents, families and supporting staff.
• Plan, direct and monitor the daily operations of the Admissions Department to meet census goals.
• Admit patients to the health care facility and screen them by admission criteria.
• Complete admission and financial responsibility forms for patients.
• Coordinate with other facility leaders to ensure timely communication and improve admissions experience.
• Verify insurance benefit coverage meets standards of admissions.
• Coordinate transportation and related support services for admissions.
