Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Admissions Department and cultivate the function of the department as an integrated team.
• Oversee intake, assessment, and admission services while ensuring patient access to care.
• Ensure compliance with EMTALA and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Train and supervise staff and act as a clinical liaison with referral sources.
• Plan and manage shift coverage, admissions prioritization, and quality improvement.
