Aventura at West Park in Cincinnati is seeking an experienced Admissions Director to manage the admissions process from initial referral through resident admission. You will build relationships with hospitals, physicians, and families to ensure a seamless transition and exceptional service.

The ideal candidate has healthcare admissions or long-term care experience, strong leadership skills, and proficiency with EMR systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare admissions, healthcare marketing, business development, customer service, or long-term care.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare or long-term care setting.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and insurance processes preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the admissions process from initial referral through resident admission.
• Review referrals and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to determine admission appropriateness.
• Coordinate tours for prospective residents and families.
• Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and community partners.
• Ensure admission paperwork and required documentation are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain admissions records, reports, and tracking systems.
• Support census development and occupancy growth initiatives.
• Serve as a liaison between referral sources, residents, families, and facility staff.
• Communicate admission decisions, updates, and next steps in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct follow-up with prospective residents, families, and referral sources.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a smooth transition into the facility.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations including HIPAA.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage the admissions process from initial referral and inquiry through resident admission.

• Review referrals and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to determine admission appropriateness.

• Coordinate tours for prospective residents and their families.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and community partners.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous experience in healthcare admissions, healthcare marketing, business development, customer service, or long-term care.

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting.

• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and insurance processes preferred.

• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
