Job summary

You will prepare decision materials for the Dean of Admissions and Enrollment Planning, assist applicants with questions, and coordinate with CAMS data entry for transfer credits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Illinois driver's license required.
• Higher education work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming applications from prospective students and document items required for final admissions decisions.
• Review final documents, including transcripts, letters of recommendation, licensure, and ACT/SAT scores.
• Prepare admissions decision sheets and documents for review by the Dean of Admissions and Enrollment Planning.
• Oversee data entries in the student information system for new and prospective students.
• Verify application materials and communicate with applicants regarding missing documents.
• Organize received documents to create a composite GPA for admission decisions.
• Assist applicants with questions and concerns through in-person or telephone meetings.
• Refer applicants to other Methodist College departments as needed.
• Assist the Registrar with course articulation of transfer credit and related CAMS data entry.
• Provide completed files and admission decision documents to the Dean.
• Prepare acceptance letters for signature
