Job summary

Eastern Michigan University is seeking an Admissions Advisor to meet with prospective students, evaluate applications, recruit at high schools and community colleges, and prepare reports on applicants and enrollments for the assigned territory. Serve as part of the Admissions Recruitment Team and participate in every aspect of the overall recruitment effort for the University.

You will join the Admissions Recruitment Team and participate in campus visits, presentations, and enrollment yield

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
Strong organization, communication, and reporting abilities.
Willingness to travel, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Meet with prospective students and parents and inform them of admissions policies and programs.
Visit schools to discuss EMU features and benefits for college-bound students.
Review admissions applications and make admissions decisions.
Make regular presentations on and off campus to prospective students and parents.
Represent EMU at recruitment fairs and campus visits statewide.
Coordinate enrollment yield efforts and assist in departmental reports.
Adhere to EMU policies and procedures in admissions recruitment.
