Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts and 1 to 2 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Dynamic written communication, customer service, public speaking, teamwork, and collaboration skills are required.
• The job requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the annual comprehensive evaluation and selection process for both first-year and transfer students.
• Support office-wide programs and projects, as assigned, to support the work of Penn Admissions.
• Frequently support the Admissions Visit Center and Client Care in daily staffing, welcoming visitors, supporting daily virtual or in-person programming, and handling inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
• Manage a geographic territory to identify, recruit, and yield candidates. Lead a variety of virtual and in-person recruitment activities, including evening and/or weekend programs, school visits, college fairs, and regional alumni programs. Engage in 1-3 weeks of recruitment travel.
