Job summary

Case Western Reserve University is seeking an Admission Counselor to evaluate applications for undergraduate admission and explain decisions to families. You will interview, assess transcripts and test scores, and help identify appropriate exceptions to policies.

Travel for recruitment and information sessions will be part of the role. You will work within the Undergraduate Admission office, communicating with high school counselors and families, and support outreach in a collaborative campus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Experience evaluating undergraduate applications.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate applications and decide admissibility based on transcripts and test scores.
• Interpret and explain admissions decisions to parents and students.
• Plan recruitment travel and build relationships with high school counselors.
• Conduct information sessions on campus and off-campus.
• Respond to inquiries via phone and email.
