Diversicare Healthcare Services Inc. is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for residents and families entering our facility.

You will guide them through the admissions process with compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail, handling bedside assessments and documenting admissions activities. You will collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth transitions, participate in community outreach, and represent the facility in

Qualifications

• Excellent written, verbal, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Genuine passion for serving elderly and disabled individuals.
• Strong organizational skills and relationship-building abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and referral sources to ensure a smooth admissions process.
• Complete bedside assessments, review documentation, and clinically accept residents for admission.
• Prepare weekly reports and maintain organized records of all admissions activity.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support seamless transitions for new residents.
• Represent the facility in community presentations on long-term care, aging, and health services.
• Promote community outreach and strengthen relationships with healthcare partners.
• Travel locally as needed to support referral development and engagement efforts.
• Comply with the Patient Bill of Rights, Employee Responsibilities, and all company safety and policy procedures.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and teamwork in all interactions.
