Rehabilitation Center, LLC in Illinois is seeking a dedicated Admissions Coordinator to ensure timely review of referrals and a smooth admission from hospital, community, or other settings. The role serves as the communication link between departments to streamline each referral and admission.

You will assist with client inquiries, organize databases, verify payer sources, and guide admissions through the facility’s process to support a seamless resident transition.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, human services, marketing, census development and admissions process.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team with a positive and enthusiastic approach.
• Professional grooming, manners and conduct.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and email.

Responsibilities

• Assist client inquiries and admissions procedures.
• Organize and input information into databases.
• Follow the facility’s admission process.
• Verify primary and secondary payer sources.
• Notify business office for PA/Pending status.
• Verify payment status on new admissions.
• Enter face sheet information into the system.
