Extended Care is looking for a dedicated Admissions Coordinator who will ensure timely processing and reviewing of referrals and admissions. This role acts as a communication link between departments for a smooth transitional experience for new clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, human services, marketing, census development, and the admissions process.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team setting with a positive and enthusiastic approach.
• Professional grooming, manners, and conduct.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client inquiries and admissions procedures.
• Organize and input information into databases.
• Follow the facility’s admission process.
• Verify primary and secondary payer sources.
• Verify Medicare days available.
• Notify the business office regarding application status.
• Verify payment status on all new admissions.
• Enter face sheet information into the system.
