Wellbrook Recovery is seeking an experienced Admissions Coordinator to join its behavioral health and substance use treatment team in a remote capacity. You will be the first point of contact for individuals and families, handling inquiries, screenings, and admissions logistics with compassion and professionalism.
Candidates must have prior admissions experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple inquiries in a fast-paced
Answer incoming admissions calls, inquiries, and referrals in a timely and professional manner
Communicate with prospective clients, families, referral sources, and other professionals
Conduct initial phone screenings and gather demographic, clinical, insurance, and other required information
Guide prospective clients and families through the admissions process
Coordinate with clinical, medical, nursing, and operations teams to determine appropriate next steps
Coordinate admission dates, arrival times, transportation, and other admission logistics
Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective clients and families
Accurately document calls, inquiries, referrals, and admissions activity
Ensure required admissions information and documentation is completed accurately
Build rapport with prospective clients and provide compassionate support throughout the admissions process
Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA and company policies
Assist with additional admissions-related responsibilities as needed
Previous admissions experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment is required
Knowledge of the substance use treatment and/or behavioral health admissions process
Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills
Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills
Compassionate and professional when communicating with individuals and families seeking treatment
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple calls, inquiries, and priorities simultaneously
Strong computer and documentation skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Must have flexibility and evening availability as needed
