Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is seeking an intake and administrative specialist to support patient admissions across hospital, ED, and ambulatory services. You will collect demographics, insurance details, and medical information, and help determine payment sources.

You will interface with insurers and the healthcare team to obtain deposits or deductibles and ensure accurate financial data for the patient journey, contributing to smooth admissions and patient-centered care.

Qualifications
