Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Oklahoma City is seeking a full-time Admissions Clerk to support the admissions office, verify referrals, and coordinate pre-certification. The role involves ensuring accurate patient intake and proper insurance handling in a busy hospital setting.

You will work with clinical and administrative staff to maintain insurance information and assist the Admissions Manager during peak periods. A high school diploma and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Business/Technical School preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Provides admissions office support for the facility.
• Manages referral, intake, verification, pre-certification, and admissions process.
• Serves as a back-up to the Admissions Manager.
