Job summary

Westminster Point Pleasant Bradenton, part of Westminster Communities Of Florida, is seeking an Admissions Coordinator for the Health Center. This full-time role focuses on marketing the Health Center and maintaining occupancy, guiding prospective residents and families through admission processes, and coordinating with hospital transfers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field or RN with at least two years’ experience.
• One year in long term care with Medicare/Medicaid knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all admissions (Medicare and direct admissions) with transfers from hospital or home.
• Tour facility with prospective residents/families and assist with referrals.
• Educate about Medicare/Medicaid coverage, length of stay, and co-insurance days.
• Ensure proper admission documentation and nursing/insurance information is confirmed prior to admission.
• Enter resident information into Electronic Charting System and maintain census.
• Develop relations with physicians and hospitals; coordinate transfers and bed availability.
