Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree preferred.
• Two years’ clerical/front-office healthcare experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Accept and follow up with referrals in a timely manner.
• Screen and enter intake notes, make initial contact with insurance providers and guardians.
• Audit charts to ensure compliance and payment for services rendered.
• Track daily admissions and discharges to ensure proper census.
• Collaborate with hospital managers to ensure a smooth transition.
