Job summary

Devereux is seeking a Mental Health Technician for its Children’s Behavioral Health Center in Malvern, PA. In this clinically focused inpatient setting, you will help adolescents develop coping and social skills under a structured treatment plan.

You will work with a team of dedicated professionals, supporting safety, daily activity engagement, and behavior management within PBIS, ABA and IEP frameworks. A strong commitment to care and a supportive work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or Bachelor’s degree with relevant coursework in psychology, sociology, social work, education or related field.
• Direct care experience of two years is acceptable in lieu of a degree in a human services discipline.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the individuals are safe.
• Engage in daily activities to develop social and independent living skills.
• Address and redirect inappropriate behavior of individuals.
