Job summary

Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to assist in coordinating admissions, maintaining documentation, and working with multiple departments to ensure smooth patient transitions.

The role involves representing the facility to residents and referral sources, supporting marketing efforts, and ensuring regulatory compliance across admission records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a skilled nursing facility or Assisted Living facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination of all admissions to the facility, ensuring compliance with budgeted census projections
• Represent the facility to potential residents, families, hospitals, and other referral sources in a positive and professional manner
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with all respective departments to ensure seamless admission activities and documentation
• Act as a liaison between the facility and community groups and agencies
• Assist in implementation of the facility's marketing plan
• Utilize appropriate sales/marketing techniques to maintain a budgeted census mix
• Ensure detailed completion of all admission, discharge, and transfer records

As the Admissions Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and overall operations of all admissions directed by the Director of Admissions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the coordination of all admissions to the facility, ensuring compliance with budgeted census projections
