Aliya Health Group is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join our nationwide network of treatment centers. This full-time role handles inbound calls, assesses eligibility, explains insurance and financing, and guides families from first contact to admission with empathy and a client-centered approach.

You will interact with clients, guarantors, and medical partners, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a high-demand call center environment. Reports to the Director of Admissions.

Our nationally accredited treatment centers include Footprints to Recovery, Vogue Recovery Center, Royal Life Centers, Malibu Detox and South Coast Behavioral Health.Position: Admissions Coordinator | Full-TimePosition Overview: The Admissions Coordinator is sales-oriented and has a passion for helping people and is a vital role within the company. This position answers all incoming calls, and fields all incoming referrals to Footprints to Recovery’s facilities. You will be responsible for qualifying potential clients, assisting in helping clients/families understand the process of treatment, and educating them on our treatment facilities. You will be responsible for walking clients through the process from the initial phone call to admission to our facilities and explaining necessary finances / insurance benefits required for admission. This role needs to be filled by someone who can engage clients/families, has a sense of empathy, and is sales oriented.Key Responsibilities:Answering inbound phone calls from people who are seeking substance abuse/alcohol treatment for themselves or a loved one. Must be able to speak to clients and/or families during times of crisis and offer a solution.Financial Conversation – Establishing a relationship with client and client’s guarantor, must be able to discuss client financial responsibility, and all necessary information from guarantor to draft agreements, finalizing payment agreements, processing of payments.Be efficient at explaining insurance benefits to a client and/or family and assist with their understanding of this information.Admissions Duties – You must be passionate about healthcare as we are a client-centered company, and you must be willing to actively learn and understand substance abuse disorders and treatment options. This role requires you to be able to explain the services offered by our facilities and be able to provide clients/family members with helpful resources.Maintain good relationships with outside medical facilities to guarantee a smooth transfer of patients.Complete pre-screen assessments and be efficient at relaying this information to the Director of Admissions to help determine a client’s appropriateness for our programs.Perform various tasks as assigned.Qualifications:Must have a strong written and oral communication abilityMust be able to display strong attention to detail to ensure that all necessary information is capturedAbility to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and perform several tasks simultaneously without losing concentrationProper telephone etiquetteEmpathy and compassion towards individuals struggling with substance use / alcohol use disordersKnowledge of a variety of computer software applications: Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Outlook1-2 years of admissions and/or sales experience preferredProven sales backgroundProfessionalism in all facets of communicationAbility to work in a high-stress environmentCall center experience or multi-line phone system experienceDependability / Honesty / IntegrityThe Admissions Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Admissions. This is a full-time position (40+ hours a week) with on-call shifts 1-2 nights a week. This position must be available for company emergencies when needed, after-hours.
