The Admissions Coordinator is the primary point of contact for prospective residents at the Michael J. Fitzmaurice State Veterans Home (MJFSVH). The Admissions Coordinator manages the admissions process which includes application intake, document and information gathering, interdepartmental coordination, applicant tours, applicant communication and outreach to inform and advise the public that the MJFSVH is a long-term care option for veterans and their eligible dependents.
Onsite at MJFSVH in Hot Springs; travel may be required 25% to 50% of the time throughout the state and surrounding border states.
Computer and phone work with periods of standing/walking during applicant tours and day-of-admission activities.
This position is eligible for Veterans’ Preference per ARSD 55:10:02:08.
