Job summary

Middlebury College Admissions seeks a dynamic admissions communications intern to develop a consistent online voice and engaging online presence. The role involves creating content and managing social media with 5-8 hours per week during peak times.

Compensation is at the Level B rate on the Midd student wage scale: $14.95 per hour, with supervision from Admissions staff and flexible timing. Campus events may require outside hours and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, etc).
• Experience working in a professional environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in video/film production, video editing, photography, photo editing, and basic graphic design is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a consistent online voice for the Admissions office.
• Produce digital content (photos, video, text) to showcase Middlebury and the student experience.
• Manage the Instagram account for admitted students from December through May.
• Attend campus and community events to feature admissions content.
• Compile, process, and evaluate analytics from Admissions social media.
